As you know, I used to up my mixes to RapidShare, then MegaUpload and FileSonic when RS went tits up. Now they've gone too, thanks to the US government thinking it should fight piracy, not caring if it shits on everybody else in the meantime. But then, only Abe thought it was a government of the people, by the people, for the people. The rest of us know it's a government of corrupt politicians, by the oil companies, for the big corporate businesses.

I'll upload this mix to a MediFire as they seem to be OK for now but fuck knows how long any link will stay live in the current climate. Grab it while you can.

It's been a while since I upped a new mix, and the best part of 6 months since I upped an old school mix, so this is well overdue. I thought I'd pay tribute to the Belgian label R&S Records, so that means a bit of house, a bit of acid, a bit of new beat and plenty of good old faceless techno bollocks. They were one of the biggest labels back in the day so you'll recognise some of the names and tracks but hopefully there'll be something you've not heard before (or not for a while, at least).

Dunfyboy's Leftfield Mix

Another "old-school-to-modern-day" artist mix. Leftfield probably don't spring to mind when talking about old school, but "Not Forgotten" was 1st released in 1990, so that qualifies them (in my mind at least). They're probably as unjustified to be called modern day as "Rhythm & Stealth" was realeased 9 years ago. Doesn't time fly?

My first Leftfield mix was the first I recorded as an MP3. It only featured 8 tracks and ran to about half an hour so I've redone it with more tracks and it now comes in at just over the hour mark. BPMs range from the low 70s to the mid 140s so it was a bit of a challange.

Been a while since I last uploaded a mix, but this one's been a bitch.

My original plan was to do 3 mixes using the 18 Reactivate albums.

First mix using volumes 1-6 went OK, but when I came to the second mix (using volumes 7-12) there just weren't enough tracks I liked or wanted to use in the mix. I had a listen to volumes 13-18 and decided it would sound too much like one of my trance mixes (which I'll upload in the next week or so).

So, after much swearing, I re-jigged my 1st mix to include tracks from volumes 1-10, totally ignoring the later albums.
